- Project to Product Services
Emroth Technologies Pty Ltd ability to offer a complete service, from concept through to delivered products ensures complete compatibility of the processes and technologies. You, our Client, will not end up with a product design that is too hard to manufacture, requires difficult-to-source components or, has an application code that is unstable. This "no risk-hassle free" approach ensures that the job is done right the first time, on time, and within budget.
Emroth Technologies Pty Ltd has specialist expertise and experience in the following areas and activities:
- Electronic Design (Micro processor and analogue designs)

The structured product development methodology employed by Emroth Technologies Pty Ltd ensures the following benefits to the Client:
- Reduced Costs - the estimates of the project cost and the lead times are defined before any costs are incurred by the Client. If a project under consideration is unfeasible, it is determined at an early stage.
- Faster Completion Time - as all the activities from concept through to product, have been defined and a completion date set, the time to market is clearly known.
- Product Quality - the Standards consideration stage of a project clearly defines how the product will perform in the intended operating environment.
We, at Emroth Technologies Pty Ltd use a structured product development methodology, that ensures that a defined plan with agreed milestones is clearly in place, and approved, before any design processes are commenced. The complexity of each project will determine what level of detail is prepared for that specific project. The more complex a project, then the more detail that is prepared. This methodology is summarised as follows:
Project Planning Stage - Design Inputs
- Preliminary Planning - Preparation of a basic requirement brief.
- Preliminary Quotation/ Statement of Requirement - this includes possible operating parameters, functionality and software application framework.
- Final Quotation/ Statement of Requirement - this is formally approved by both parties before any development work is commenced. This is prepared by the Design Engineer/ Project Manager who will have responsibility for the project and includes:
- Conceptual Specifications (including electronics, software, housing and packaging)
- Standards Conformance and Compliance Considerations
- Conceptual Design Description
- Conceptual Design Appraisal Method
- Conceptual Drawings
- Preliminary Product Cost Estimates
- Preliminary Project Cost Estimates
Design Stage - Design Outputs
- Hand Wired Prototype/ Software Model - this is designed and manufactured as a functional mock-up of the expected finished product and is used to evaluate the product concept and operation.
- Pre-production Prototypes/ Software Beta Model - a defined number of pre-production prototypes are manufactured for field testing, evaluation and Standards comparison and/ or compliance testing.
- Standards Testing Considerations - a test plan is prepared, if required, for the applicable standards. One or more of the pre-production prototypes are used for any testing or verification against the standards.
Production Stage (Products)
- Production Run - a product is then put to manufacture, with the first batch of production units being analysed for design enhancements before release into the field.
- Distribution - After alpha and beta testing plans have been followed to conclusion, the product is signed off for release to the client.
